This Privacy Policy explains how Bean Notes (“the app”) handles information. Bean Notes is developed by Snowfox (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

Information we collect

Bean Notes does not collect, transmit, or sell personal information. The app does not require an account and does not use advertising, analytics, tracking technologies, or third-party data collection services.

Information stored on your device

Your notes, drawings, imported attachments, folders, preferences, and app-generated backups are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this content. Bean Notes does not use CloudKit or a Bean Notes server to sync or store your library.

Photos, files, and sharing

If you choose to import a photo or file, iOS provides Bean Notes access to the item you select. The app uses that access only to create or update a note on your device. If you export or share content, it is sent to the destination you choose, such as Files, iCloud Drive, or another app. That destination’s privacy policy applies after you share the content.

Notifications

Bean Notes may request permission to send local notifications. These notifications are scheduled and presented by your device; they are not sent from, or associated with, a remote Bean Notes service. You can change notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Data retention and deletion

Because your content is stored locally, you control it. You can delete notes, attachments, backups, or the entire app from your device. Content exported or shared outside Bean Notes is controlled by the location or service where you saved it.

Children’s privacy

Bean Notes does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app’s privacy practices change. The updated policy will be published at this URL with a revised effective date.
